Milton Democrats Welcome Candidates for Statewide Office in 2014

On Sunday, September, 15, 2013, the Milton Democratic Town Committee hosted a barbecue and invited all of the Democratic candidates running for statewide office in 2014. An enthusiastic crowd of more than sixty Milton democrats welcomed candidates for Governor, Lieutenant Governor and Treasurer, along with sitting Congressman Michael Capuano, Senator Brian Joyce and Governor’s Councilor Robert Jubinville.

Each of the candidates for statewide office had an opportunity to address the crowd and share their message and vision for the Commonwealth, followed by an informal meet and greet with Milton Democrats. Congressman Michael Capuano also addressed the crowd and applauded the attendees for the involvement in the democratic process.

“It was great to see so many activists taking time out of their weekend to come together and talk about the important issues facing our nation. I appreciate the invitation to join the Milton Democratic Town Committee and look forward to a return visit,” stated Congressman Mike Capuano.
