During the month of October, the Milton Public Library will host talented artist Beth Neville in the Wotiz Gallery on the first floor. Ms. Neville’s work has been featured in 18 solo exhibits, ranging from the Kalarson Gallery in New York City to the Fine Arts Museum of Long Island, NY. Her paintings have been included in numerous juried group exhibitions and other venues (1959 to present). Her endeavors include life-size oil portraits, metaphorical landscape murals up to 70 feet in length, photomontages about social issues, and watercolors of cities and landscapes around the world. Other creative works include book illustrations in pen and ink, and book covers for philosophy and theology texts. Beth has also worked with ceramics, cloth, stained glass, and wood.
Published art includes 18 philosophy book covers, illustrations for literary journals, a CD cover for a musical group, and the Honorary Medal design for the Metaphysical Society of America. She has also been involved in the administration of museums, galleries and art schools, and has taught art students for four decades. Teaching venues include the Milton Art Museum, Greenwich Public Schools, Fordham University’s Lincoln Center Campus, and more. Critics from many major publications have written about her exhibited work and career. The artist’s website is: www.NevilleArt.com. We are pleased to display her paintings here at the library during the month of October. Please come and enjoy this fine exhibit.
