The Suffolk Resolves House has new caretakers

Screen Shot 2013-08-07 at 9.04.04 PMBrian Doherty, President of The Milton Historical Society, is proud to announce that a contract has been signed with Rebecca and Amram Migdal to be resident caretakers at the Suffolk Resolves House at 1370 Canton Avenue, Milton.  Married in 2012, they moved here following grad school in Delaware and Virginia, respectively.

Rebecca has a degree in Art History, Magna Cum Laude from Framingham State College and a Master’s Degree in American Material Culture from the Winterthur Program at the University of Delaware.  Prior to grad school, she worked at an art gallery in Manhattan and at several museums in Massachusetts, including the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.

She is currently working on a project as part of Four Centuries of Massachusetts Furniture and looks forward to lending her expertise to Milton Historical Society.

Amram received a B.A. in Philosophy from Columbia University, New York NY and an MBA from the Darden School at the University of Virginia.  He currently works as a researcher for Harvard Business School.

Both Rebecca and Amram are delighted to join the Milton community and discover more abouts its rich history.
