Notice from the Milton Police Department

Attention residents- The Department has published a great deal of information about residential house breaks in the past months. Most occur during the day but on Friday night sometime between midnight and 6 am, an individual entered a home on Herrick Drive. Entry was made via a rear door that was left ajar. Eight people were asleep inside and heard nothing. The suspect(s) took laptops, a woman’s purse, all her personal items and other small electronic devices. We have combed this neighborhood. Nothing else was touched. There were no other crimes anywhere in Town. We cannot reinforce enough how important it is to lock your doors at all times. As we stated, this is a very rare occurrence in Milton, but diligence in locking your car and your home is so important. Thank you.
