Bring your creativity and frosting skills to the library on Tuesday, July 16 at 6:30 p.m. for a cupcake decorating contest! Participants will create (and eat!) cupcakes in honor of this year’s summer reading theme, Beneath the Surface. Cupcake decorators will vote on awards, including for Best Overall, Most Creative Use of Materials, Best Interpretation of Theme, and more. Space is limited and advance registration is strongly recommended. Register by visiting the Events page of the library’s website (www.miltonlibrary.org).
The library will provide cupcakes and decorating materials. This program is open to students entering grades 6-12 in the fall and is sponsored by the Friends of the Milton Public Library. For more information about this and other programs for middle and high school students at the Milton Public Library, contact Emily Calkins, Young Adult Librarian, at 617-698-5757 or ecalkins@ocln.org.
