The day began gloriously. It was like many a Memorial Day. The parade left town hall. The band played. Officials spoke at Milton Cemetery, notably Sergeant Greg Kelly of Dorchester who extolled those gathered to “get involved” and that the only person stopping you from doing what you need or want to do . . . is you.
