Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Milton invites local businesses and organizations with a health and wellness focus to exhibit at the Fourth Annual Community Health Walk and Health Fair on Saturday, June 15, 2013.

“Our vision for this year’s walk and health fair is to bring together organizations from our community to showcase the many local opportunities to stay active and well,” said BID-Milton Public Relations Manager Jason Bouffard.

The event kicks off at 10am with a 5-kilometer (3.1 mile) walk throughout Milton, beginning and ending at the hospital campus. A shorter 1-mile option is offered for beginners. Funds raised from the walk are distributed back to the community in the form of grants to support local health and wellness programs.

After the walk, a health fair will be held at the hospital. In addition to exhibitors, the fair will include inflatable “jumpees” and other fun outdoor games for kids, prize drawings, and a complimentary lunch for all exhibitors and guests.
