Milton voters override Prop 2 1/2

Milton is one of several communities that have passed a Prop 2 1/2 override in an effort to stem the impact severe state budget cuts would have on essential town services.  You can read the full post and view voter turnout and results by precinct here.

Runners take to the streets

The annual Milton Road Race took place last Tuesday. Sponsored by the Junior Women’s Club, it is one of Milton’s stellar sports events. You can pictures of the race here.

The Governor puts his home up for sale

Citing the need to downsize due to daughters now being out of the nest, Governor Patrick is putting his home on the market. And if you have $1.9 million it could be yours. For more details on the house, see the Globe story here.
