With his children grown Governor Patrick and his wife have decided their house here in Milton is more than they need.

The Boston Globe reports today that the house will go on the market for just shy of $2 million. According to one realtor, it is “absolutely magnificent” with 5 bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths and 9 fireplaces.

Naturally, questions were asked about the governor’s personal financial situation. He deflected those simply saying he is “blessed” and that there is no urgency in selling.
