The Wakefield Estate is reviving its “Winter Stone Soup” gatherings the Thursday with a new twist. In the past, the estate’s stone soup gatherings were held at mid-day, a time many found difficult to break away. This year, our Stone Soup Series will be held on the final Thursday of each month with tasty soup and a featured speaker.

For January, our own Landscape Director Deb Merriam will  be discussing the estate’s approach to some of the more challenging invasive plants now facing landowners and gardeners. Soup served at 5:30; speaker at 6:00 pm. For more information, visit the Wakefield Estate’s website.
