Notice from the Milton Police Department

ADVISORY- Governor Patrick has just declared a “State of Emergency” for all of Massachusetts. Forecasters are expecting a signifcant hit for our area from Hurricane Sandy. This storm is more significant than the 2011 TS Irene, both in the enormous size and the duration. We are expecting it will impact our community 12 hours plus, beginning by 8 am Monday morning.
RESIDENTS- please take the appropriate precautions, especially flashlight batteries and bottled water. Milton is on the right (east) side of the storm, signifcant wind and power outages are likely to occur in our community. Stay tuned to local weather throughout the weekend.
