Milton enjoys a plethora of natural resources, including our proximity to Boston and all of its assets. Vivien Li, President of The Boston Harbor Association, will speak at Milton Garden Club’s upcoming conservation meeting to be held Thursday, Nov. 1 at 7 pm at the Milton Public Library Keys Community Room.
Leader and visionary of The Boston Harbor Association for over 20 years, Li will speak about efforts that have been taken to conserve the harbor islands and to provide educational, ecological and recreational programs open to the public. In addition, she will discuss the vision behind the nearly completed 47-mile Harbor Walk, which provides public access to the harbor extending from Charlestown and East Boston to Dorchester. Open to the public, the meeting intends to shed light on the tremendous resource we have so near to us.
