Notice from MPD re: House break ins

Notice from The Milton Police Department

To all residents: We are seeing a recent uptick in residential burglaries regionally. BPD put out an extensive stat list yesterday on the same trends. The vast majority occur during daytime hours. Last night however, we had a home entered on Alfred Rd, through an unlocked screen porch.
POINT OF ENTRY: most breaks in Milton involve unsecured windows or doors. PLEASE LOCK YOUR FIRST FLOOR WINDOWS AND REAR DOORS. The primary items being taken are SILVER FLATWARE and SMALL ELECTRONICS (Ipad, laptops) and jewelry. The vast majority of these suspects are looking for easy entrance into empty homes. Talk with your neighbors, pay attention. Due diligence is the greatest deterrent to would be thieves. If you see someone suspicious, call MPD right away. Please share with your FB friends and neighbors. Thank you…
