The Milton Public Library and Pierce Middle School teacher Jeff Stoodt will host 3 films during Fall 2012 to help celebrate the themes in Milton Reads’ choice, To Kill A Mockingbird. The movie series is called “Segregated Worlds” and is geared towards an adult audience.
The program dates and titles are as follows:
- Thursday, October 11th: “Hey Boo!: Harper Lee and To Kill A Mockingbird” (documentary, 2012; unrated)
- Thursday, November 8th: “Imitation of Life” with Claudette Colbert (1934; unrated)
- Thursday, December 6th: “Liberty Heights” with Joe Mategna, Bebe Neuwirth and Adrien Brody (1999; rated R)
All films will be screened at 6:30 PM, with commentary and trivia about each starting at 6:15 with Mr. Stoodt. These programs will be held in the Keys Community Room (lower level) and are free and open to the public. The library is located at 476 Canton Avenue, Milton.
