Last night the Milton Police Department opened their doors and welcomed the community onto their grounds to learn about what they do, how they do it, and why a partnership with the community is so important. And their were hot dogs, bouncy rides, and exhibits.

In a note of thanks on their Facebook page the MPD commented:

Thank you to EVERYONE who attended National Night Out at our station tonight. The crowd was unbelievable, perhaps the largest ever at 2000 strong. We are grateful to our elected officials, many law enforcement partners, other government agencies and especially the citizens of our wonderful community. Each of you help to make the job of protecting Milton much easier. We hope you are as proud of your police department as we are to serve you. Thank you all so much and enjoy the rest of the summer!
