Movie “Fresh” to be screened at East Congregational Church

East Congregational Church will be screening the movie Fresh. If you eat one to three meals a day you should see this movie. The first step to change is awareness. Building awareness is the Earth
Steward’s mission. Where “Food Inc” was filled with shock value, “Fresh” deals with the same subject matter but is a more solution-based movie.

We’ll provide popcorn: Non-GMO corn, olive oil, organic avocado oil, salt.

“Fresh celebrates the farmers, thinkers and business people across America who are re-inventing our food system. Each has witnessed the rapid transformation of our agriculture into an industrial model, and confronted the consequences: food contamination, environmental pollution, depletion of natural resources and morbid obesity. forging healthier, sustainable alternatives, they offer a practical vision for a future of our food and our planet.

Fresh addresses an ethos that has been sweeping the nation and is a call to action America has been waiting for.”
