A local resident was paying a visit on an elderly friend when a neighbor brought her attention to a raccoon nearby. Raccoons are rarely out during the day and concerned about it’s condition, she called the Nancy Bersani.

Nacny Bersani is Milton’s newly appointed animal control officer. Here are some shots of her dealing the with animal. Elizabeth Thomas, the woman who made the call, complimented Barsani on her prompt response and her professional handling of the sitauation that ensured safety of residents and humane treatment of the animal.

Bersani, like many emergency responders, is a low profile persence until you need them at which point they become worth their weight in gold.
