Plate getting close to opening – menu posted

The Plate, a new sandwich shop featuring “handcrafted comfort food”, looks like it is close to opening. There is not a firm date; but they have launched their website and their menu is posted. Prices are reasonable and the dishes which include sandwiches, beverages, breakfasts, and sweets look awfully good.

You can start the day with buttermilk biscuit, artisan cured ham, cheddar cheese + red pepper jam breakfast. What could go wrong after that?

And if you missed breakfast maybe try garlicky roasted eggplant, zucchini, red bell pepper, tomatoes, basil, parsley, goat cheese spread, leafy greens on ciabatta for lunch. I’ve never tried it either; but how bad could it be? It has goat cheese!

You can find their full menu here. We look forward to their opening and wish them the best of luck with it.
