Artspace Milton opens with a bang

Last Saturday Atspace Milton, a new community arts organization, opened its doors. Two initial course offerings kicked off and a drop-in note card making workshop filled the space with children, parents, and a joyful noise.

Jess Gilooly and Color class

Instructor Jess Gilooly taught a Color class to children 6 – 8 in a downstairs classroom while upstairs families participated in creating custom note cards for friends and loved ones. . . (or maybe just themselves).

Later that day MHS alum Francis Anderson, a graduate of the Savannah School of Art  Design, taught an illustration class in French to 1st and 2nd graders. And the card making carried on. Participants created cards that will be printed in a package of 20 and delivered to their homes.
