Milton Hospital hosted a very successful golf tournament at the Wollaston Golf Club here in Milton on Monday, September 26th. It was their 17th annual “Tee Off” and it raised more than $116,000 to support patient care, new technology and the future health care services.
“We would like to sincerely thank all of our sponsors, players and supporters for helping us achieve another successful event,” said hospital President Joseph Morrissey. “We are extremely grateful to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Milton Hospital corporators, Donoghue & Barrett and Signal PC, Century Bank, Royal Braintree Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Angelica, South Shore Internal Medical Associates, Inc. and South Shore Orthopedic Labs for their generous contributions as sponsors.”
Milton Hospital administrators gave special thanks to the event co-chairs, Dr. Jon W. Cronin and Carol A. Fallon, and their Tee Off Committee members.
The event featured lunch, dinner, raffles and prizes, the day featured longest drive, hole-in-one and closest-to-the-pin contests. The first place “Best Ball” winners were Carol Fallon, Norman Racicot, Peter Racicot and Patrick Stapleton. And the first place “Scramble” winners were Michael Gormley, Dr. Mark Hodgman, Thomas Hodgman and Jim O’Leary.
