Don’t miss Fontbonne Academy’s Musical Theater Camp’s performance of “Kids on Broadway” on Friday, July 29, at 6 p.m. at Fontbonne Academy.

Tickets are $3 each, or 2 for $5, and can be bought at the door. The show is the culmination of the work of the summer camp which is a joint effort between St. Agatha Teacher and Drama Director, Janine Winters, Fontbonne Academy’s Fine Arts Director, Carol Fortier, and Fontbonne alumna and past president of Fontbonne’s drama troupe, The Good Fountain Players, Christina Ferrera, who acted as choreographer of the show. Twenty-eight children, grades 5-12 are involved in the show. In “Kids on Broadway”, Charlie Brown decides to give Broadway a try. With the help of his friends, Charlie Brown goes on a fabulous journey through various Broadway productions, hoping to find a starring role. Some of the shows highlighted include: “Annie,” “West Side Story,” “The Little Mermaid” and “The Sound of Music.” The show is sure to be a hit with youngsters and the young at heart.
