The Milton Foundation for Education has extended the ticket sales deadline for this year’s Celebration for Education until noon this Friday, April 1. According to Event Co-chair Astrid Hajjar, “Ticket sales have been fantastic so far – but I keep hearing from busy Milton parents that they just haven’t had the time to buy their tickets yet. This year’s celebration has a new theme – The Big Backyard Bash – and just the right mix of casual elegance and summertime fun we all could use after a long winter. We hope this added time will give harried moms and dads another day to head over to our website and buy tickets for what will be a really fun event.”

The Celebration for Education will be held at the Boston Marriott Quincy Saturday, April 2nd, starting at 6:30 pm and wrapping up at midnight. The event features a cocktail hour, live and silent auctions, a delicious summertime barbecue-inspired menu, live music and dancing. All funds raised benefit all six of Milton’s Public Schools, and the ongoing work of the foundation.
