The Milton Squirt B team won three straight games to enter the Finals of the Needham Youth Hockey February Tournament. Despite consecutive wins, they were all hard fought victories vs. Needham (3-2), Weymouth (4-2) and the Spitfires (3-0). Prior to facing The Spitfires, both teams were undefeated in the tournament.
In the tournament Championship game, Milton once again took on The Spitfires, coming up victorious 3-1. The entire team contributed throughout the 4 day tournament at St. Sebastian’s. In the final game, Milton goals were scored by John Carey, Genevieve Connelly, and Jamie O’Brien. The defense was led by goalie Christian Wilson and defensemen Liam McGourty and Ryan Hoey.
With 3 regular season games remaining, the Milton team is in third place in the South Shore Conference. They will be headed into the South Conference play-offs at the end of March.
