On March 6, 2011, the Temple is hosting a communitywide celebration and fundraiser to support the its continued vibrant presence within Milton.Your support is needed! Here’s how you can help make Voices Lifted for Temple Shalom a success:
1) Sponsor an advertisement or well wishes in the event program. There are options ranging from a Visionary Leader Sponsorship full-page advertisement down to a Listing of Support. Review the sponsorship booklet here and submit your personal message of support by the deadline of Friday, February 11.
2) Purchase your tickets to the Voices Lifted event. The concert performance will feature the Boston Community Choir, a dynamic gospel choir led by Artistic Director Brother Dennis Slaughter; Rebecca Hains, performing Gilbert & Sullivan arias and American songbook classics; Woman Song, vibrant a cappella from the South Shore Conservatory; and proudly will showcase the talented students of Milton High School. Tickets are $30 each and can be purchased online at www.templeshalomonline.org or by contacting the Temple office.
3) Donate an item (or items!) to the silent auction. The Voices Lifted program will begin with a silent auction, featuring gift certificates, vacation stays, food and gift baskets, and more. Please consider donating items or services of value to build excitement around the auction.
4) Tell your friends and neighbors about Voices Lifted. This is a communitywide event to celebrate the diversity and vibrancy of musical traditions and talent in Milton and surrounding communities. Please invite your friends, colleagues, neighbors, acquaintances – basically spread the word! Details on the event are below.
