A former Duxbury police officer charged with holding a gun to the head of his ex-girlfriend and threatening to kill her has reached a plea bargain and avoided jail time.

Kristen Chipman, a Milton police officer, accused Sean P. Moran of putting a gun to her head on Oct. 18, 2007, and threatening to kill her in one of several alleged domestic assaults. (Read the full story here.)
