Milton Democrats are breathing a sigh of relief this morning. Local incumbents Duval Patrick and State Senator Brian Joyce both retained their offices.

Of the ballot questions, only Question 1 passed. Questions 2 and 3 which would have repealed the 40B affordable housing law and rolled back state taxes to 3% were beaten back by substantial margins repeal the alcohol tax is passing where Q2 & 3 appear to be going down in defeat by substantial margins.You can find complete election results on ballot questions here.

Norfolk,Bristol & Plymouth
43 of 47 precincts – 91 percent

Brian Joyce, Dem (i) 34,959 – 64 percent

Robert Burr, GOP 19,847 – 36 percent
