Milton Teens in Need is a group that has also helped organize a prom dress exchange and assisted families with holiday gifts. Milton Teens in Need has already funded over $2,500 for holiday gift cards to family this year and has provided over $5,000 in support for students and families over the last three years. They are hosting a fund-raising event Saturday, March 1, 2014 at the Hoosic Club on Central Avenue in Milton from 7 – 11 pm.

Cindy L. Christiansen, PhD, is Associate Professor of Health Policy and Management at Boston University School of Public Health. She has over 20 years experience in health, medical, and health policy research and teaching. She believes that improvement to population health requires collaborative approaches.

Milton Democratic Caucus announces delegates to State Convention
The Milton Democratic Caucus held on February 8th elected twenty delegates and four alternates to represent Milton at the State Convention on June 14th in Worcester Massachusetts. The winners are:

The last time I saw Mary Ferson was a month ago at Tippett Home hospice in Needham – a much more somber occasion, but still with a sense of celebrating life. Town Meeting Member Candidate races taking shape
The precinct level town meeting candidate races are beginning to take shape. Of 91 incumbents up for re-elections, 55 have filed cards with the Town Clerk confirming they plan to run for re-election. Milton High School Mock Trial Team Concludes Great Season
Milton High School’s Mock Trial team recently concluded their season with a strong showing at the Framingham Court House on February 4th. The team scored 100 points – a season high – during the mock trial. The civil trial was a wrongful death suit, in which the family of a man who was killed doing an airplane stunt sued the airplane’s manufacturer.
