Stone Soup Series: Ed Karle on the State of Bees

The third the Wakefield Estate’s “Winter Stone Soup” gatherings will feature remarks by Ed Karle, President of the Norfolk County Beekeepers Association. Ed will give a brief talk on the state of bees. These sessions have been lively and informative.

Naturalist and historian John J. Galluzo walked for 30 minutes on protected open space, every day, in every town and city in Massachusetts. His new book, Half an Hour a Day Across Massachusetts: Finding Open Space in All 351 Bay State Communities, chronicles his sightings and experiences.

Celebrate spring with a Neponset bike ride

Celebrate the coming of spring from the seat of your bicycle on Saturday, March 23rd, by exploring the Neponset River Greenway, end to end, all the way from Boston Harbor to the Blue Hills. Join Boston Natural Areas Network Board member and Greenway Council member and cycling enthusiast Jessica Mink for an informative, free, guided ride to experience the entire Greenway first hand.

Big week for concerts at MHS – have fun!

The coming week will provide a great deal of solid musical entertainment. It is Music in our Schools month. Here is a list of performances all of which will be held in the Charles Winchester Auditorium at Milton High School at 7:00pm.
