Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Milton will host a community forum on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 to answer questions about “observations status” at hospitals, among other issues.
“Dig” Earth Day at the Wakefield Estate with Earth Art and a chance to try your hand at Archaeology
This year’s Earth Day Celebration at the Wakefield Estate will offer families a chance to really “dig in” while they explore archaeology and earth art on April 19, from 10 a.m. until noon. During the visit to the estate, one can take in the first signs of spring’s beauty and meet the estate’s chickens, sheep, and Jack the llama.

The LAST DATE TO REGISTER FOR THE ANNUAL TOWN ELECTION AND SPECIAL STATE PRIMARY is Wednesday, April 10, 2013. The Office of the Town Clerk will host a registration session on this date and will be open from 8:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. You may register in person or by mail. To register to vote in person, you must appear and register at the Town Clerk’s Office by 8:00 p.m. on the last day to register.

Beekeeping Demo Offers a Peak at Keeping Your Own Hive
The Wakefield Estate will host a session entitled “Backyard Homesteading: Beekeeping – Greet the New Queen” on Sunday, April 14, from 11:00 am – 12:30 pm. One of the Wakefield Estate’s beekeepers, Scott Harris, will provide a general overview about starting and managing your own backyard bee hive.
“Unexpected Guest” to be the Milton Players’ final production a the Woman’s Club
The Milton Players will present Agatha Christie’s mystery thriller The Unexpected Guest April 12-21 at the Milton Woman’s Club. The show is the final production the Players will perform at the Club, which has been its home for 80 years but is now expected to be sold and torn down in the near future.

The Milton Early Childhood Alliance is excited to bring the StoryWalk® Project to Milton during April school vacation week.

Four(!) Milton school jazz bands will be in performance at Milton High’s Charles Winchester Auditorium on April 10 @ 7:00PM. Come hear the MHS Jazz Band 1 and MHS Jazz Band 2 along with the MHS Jazz Combo and the Pierce Middle School Jazz Band.. Admission is $5 at the door. Opening reception for photographer Christopher Link
Throughout April, Milton photographer Christopher Link will exhibit his landscape photography in the Wotiz Gallery of the Milton Public Library, 476 Canton Avenue in Milton, MA. The collection is called “France and Flowers” and it is an uncommon look at local floral life as well as landscapes in rural France.
