The Forbes House Museum will hold a Spring Dragon Boat Cocktail Party and Auction on Saturday, 8 June, from 6-8pm at an elegant home on 88 Milton Street, Milton. The evening will feature cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and a tasteful silent auction. all to benefit the Forbes House Museum.
On May 29th at 6:00 pm, Milton varsity letter winners will be honored at the 35th annual Varsity Awards banquet sponsored by the Milton High School Boosters. Tickets for parents, siblings and friends can be purchased online at the Boosters website at www.miltonboosters.com. Tickets are $20 for adults and $5 for children. Bring your paid receipt to the banquet – no tickets will be sold at the door. Seating starts at 5:30 p.m.
On Saturday, May 18, a workshop, “Eating Healthy on a Budget” will be presented by Registered Dietitian Tara McCarthy and Milton chef Connie Spiros, at 10:00 a.m. in the Keys Community Room (lower level) of the Milton Library, 476 Canton Avenue in Milton.
Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Milton will seek input from Milton, Randolph and Braintree residents about community health needs at two upcoming forums on May 23 and May 30, 2013.

An old time yard sale is being organized to benefit the Richard Family of Dorchester. The family lost their son. The mother and daughter were severely injured and a local group has mobilized to provide some relief, a Yard & Bake sale to take place on May 4th from 10:00 – 4:00pm at the First Congregational Church of Milton.

A Stroll through History – Art & Symbolism in the Eternal Garden is the theme of the Milton Historical Society’s annual dinner which is being held Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at the Neighborhood Club of Quincy, 17 Glendale Road, Quincy.
This is the final presentation and forum for Phase 1 focused on creating a vision and goals for the Town of Milton. The consultant team will present the draft Community Vision, Goals and Key Issues, and seek recommendations for any changes needed.
