The Milton Historical Society is hosting an Open House from 1 to 3 PM on Sunday, April 18, 2010, at the Suffolk Resolves House located at 1370 Canton Avenue, Milton. The house will be open for tours, with members of the Historical Society available to answer questions about the history of the house and the Suffolk Resolves.

Milton music writer Stephen Davis is a big iTunes fan. He listens to this or that playlist depending on what he’s working on. The author of the seminal Led Zeppelin tome “Hammer of the Gods,’’ Davis just finished “LZ – ’75: The Lost Chronicles of Led Zeppelin’s 1975 American Tour,’’ which will be published in the fall. A Celtic Crossing is returning in Milton!
Milton High School will be hosting the return of “A Celtic Crossing” featuring local singer Pauline Wells.
This year, Pauline Wells and a spirited cast of artists will be performing in a new production titled, “A Celtic Crossing, The Journey Continues.” on February 26th. She will again be joined on stage by the dynamic Irish band Devri as well as the Boston Police Gaelic Column of Pipes and Drums. Together they will be performing a new collection of contemporary and Irish songs.
Lincoln Day 2010!
Every year around this time The Forbes House Museum celebrates Abraham Lincoln. Mary Bowditch Forbes, the last Forbes to live in the house at 215 Adams Street, was an avid collector of Lincoln memorabilia. The celebration includes music, re-enactors, and hot chocolate.
