Ebenezer is looking for a new home for the New Year

He is a super-affectionate lapcat with a unique purr who gets along well with other cats. Ebenezer qualifies for the “seniors for senior cats” program: adopters over age 65 may adopt this wonderful feline for a reduced fee of $75. Find contact info here.

Dueling Divas in concert at First Parish Church

This photo was taken at the funeral for NYPD officer Ramos. From left to right are Milton officer Bill Bulger, Lt. Tom Wilson and Sgt. Chuck Caputo. On the far right is Milton native and NYPD Sergeant Tim Schultz who worked in the Crime analysis unit at MPD in the 1990’s. He is currently assigned to the Chinatown precinct in Manhattan. The MPD noted on their Facebook page that it was “One bright moment on a very somber day….”

Dodgeball tournament for Gr 5 – 7

Screen Shot 2014-12-28 at 8.45.10 AMThe Milton National Little League Summer B Team will host a Dodgeball Tournament for students in Grades 5, 6 and 7 on Saturday, January 3rd in the Pierce Middle School Gym from 4:30 – 6:30 pm.  Space is limited and the cost is $10 per person.

Support the Girls Hockey Team Can/Bottle Drive on January 10th

The Boosters “Cans for Cats” can & bottle recycling drive will be held on Saturday, January 10th, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at Milton High School. The girls hockey team will be at the front entrance of the high school, 25 Gile Road, to collect your 5 cent cans and bottles to redeem them for cash. All funds earned will directly support their teams. Please stop by and support your Wildcats.

Mary A. (Joyce) Byron, age 91, passed away peacefully at home in the company of her loving family on Thursday, December 25, 2014. Most recently a 50 year resident of Milton, she was born in Boston, grew up in Dorchester, and graduated from Dorchester High School for Girls.
