Pair pull off Craigslist scam in Milton

Three people were robbed when they went to a Milton home to buy a TV they had seen advertised on Craigslist, police said.
Police said the trio went to a single-family home on Randolph Avenue at about 6 p.m. Tuesday and were met by two men. (Read the full story here.)

Milton American Legion Post 114 rolls on, defeats Sudbury 14-4
Milton’s offense was strong and its defense stifling in a powerful performance against Sudbury. The final score was 14-4. Milton pitcher Matt McDougall put in a solid effort after a shaky first start.
2nd Site Walk today: Neponset River Trail Extension
The DCR will conduct two site walks regarding the proposed Neponset River Rail Extension. One will take place primarily along the north side of the river (the Mattapan side) and the second will take place along primarily the south side (the Milton side).

ATTENTION RED LINE CUSTOMERS WEEKDAY BUS REPLACEMENT SERVICE BETWEEN JFK/UMASS AND QUINCY CENTER STARTING AT 9:00PM , The MBTA and its contractors will work reconstructing the North Quincy platform each weekday from Monday July 26, 2010 to Friday September 3, 2010 starting at 9:00pm. During this time, bus shuttle replacement service will be in effect between JFK/UMass and Quincy Center. Bus shuttle service will begin at 9:00pm and continue until the end of service. Mtg notes: Planning Board 07.22.10 – Hendries: no hearing but plenty of discussion
The public hearing on the Hendries building was postponed, but discussion certainly wasn’t.
It was postponed because abutters had not been notified. However, residents who live near the Hendries building found the meeting and voiced their concerns during Citizens Speak.
