Poem for the day 04.29.15

This isn’t really a poem, but it can read like one. A reader wrote in asking after who the author was. The words, the foundation of Apple’s famous “Think different” campaign, will be famliar to many. According to Wikipedia, the text was written by Rob Siltanen with participation of Lee Clow, copywriters with Chiat/Day. Thinking different may not be such a bad idea as we kick off this new legislative season.

Here’s to the crazy ones  – Rob Siltanen & Lee Clow

Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules.

We will be attempting to capture elections returns HERE as they are announced by precinct at Town Hall. Returns should begin to come in at about 8:30PM. Please note that these are unofficial results. Also, given the nature of technology, there is some latency between the time the results are announced by the Town Clerk and the time the results are refreshed and displayed below. Three tips: 1) Note the scroll bar on the right to scroll down to ballot question and town meeting member results 2) if you are leaving the page open be sure to refresh the (reload) the page from time to time 3) if you are experiencing difficulties you can also find the results here.

Today is election day – VOTE

voteToday is election day. You can find sample ballots on the Town Clerk’s web site. If you are not sure what precinct you are in you can find that out out here. Polls are open until 8:00pm.
