March 3 at 7pm in the Milton High School library to give an overview of existing programs and proposed changes to special education in Milton.

Milton music writer  Stephen Davis  is a big iTunes fan. He listens to this or that playlist depending on what he’s working on. The author of the seminal Led Zeppelin tome “Hammer of the Gods,’’ Davis just finished “LZ – ’75: The Lost Chronicles of Led Zeppelin’s 1975 American Tour,’’ which will be published in the fall. MHS Boys Basketball squeak by Stoughton 58-54

GO WILDCATS!!

The Milton High School varsity basketball team topped Soughton at home 58-54. They advance to the quarter final round.

Their next game is against English High School at home in the Copeland Field House on 2/26 @ 7:00pm

Rockport asst is pick for Essex clerk

Rockport assistant beats out three other candidates that included James Mullen of Milton.

The Gloucester Daily Times reports, “Selectmen have unanimously chosen Patricia E. Brown to serve as Essex’ new — and first-ever appointed — town clerk.” You can find the full story here.  The original story listing the candidates that included Mullen can be found here.

St Agatha skater ices the competition

It wasn’t the Winter Olympics, but Randolph’s Courtney Phillips didn’t seem to mind.

The seventh-grader at St. Agatha School in Milton participated in the 2010 Bay State Winter Games in January. (Read the full story here.)
