Joyce has been appointed by Senate President Therese Murray to several leadership positions in the Massachusetts Senate, including Chairman of the Committee on Bonding, Capital Expenditures and State Assets, Vice-Chair of the Healthcare Financing Committee, Vice-Chair of the Financial Services Committee, and member of the Senate Ways and Means Committee.

Milton Hospital Appoints New Vice President of Finance

Milton Hospital, a clinical affiliate of Beth Israel Deaconess providing community based healthcare, is pleased to announce the promotion of Jason Radzevich, CPA, as the hospital’s new vice president of financial services. Radzevich brings over 15 years of financial experience to Milton, most recently serving as the hospital’s controller.

Mtg Notes: School Committee 01.19.11 – Tucker shines brightly; new sports hit hurdles

The Tucker elementary school encourages students every day to work for their “personal best.” To the point, Principal Uretsky quipped, that the little ones ones may think it is part of the Pledge of Allegiance. The results speak for themselves. Tucker as demonstrated by the data provided in the site council’s presentation, which was applauded by those in attendance, is an excellent school. Tucker 5th graders ranked first in the state for growth in Mathematics; but that’s not all.

After receiving state and town assistance for its construction, the club is returning the favor by suing to block Milton’s efforts to install a wind turbine on town property near the golf course.
