We recently sat down with Alex Whiteside, Chair of the Milton Planning Board, Tone Hurley, Chair of the Milton Board of Selectmen, and Tom Callahan, Executive Director of the Massacusetts Affordable Housing Alliance to discuss Milton adopting a Housing Production Plan. The issue is receiving attention largely as a result of a proposal to develop a 40B apartment complex on Brush Hill Road. The discussion airs on MATV at 7:30pm Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and at 6:30pm on Monday.

I would think a 40b housing complex on Brush Hill Rd would be dangerous to the environment. First, all the extra pollution with all those people exhaling carbon dioxide would contribute to global warming. Then you have to account for all the extra fossil fuels being burnt to heat the new housing units also emitting carbon dioxide. Don’t forget that all the trees cut down will also prevent photosynthesis which converts the harmful carbon dioxide into oxygen. I think it is environmentally irresponsible to build a large complex in that area.
Thank you Mr. Fruzzetti for so humorously exposing the silliness of Global Warming denial. I think.
If The FAA gets away with its plan to send departure flights over Brush Hill Road’s airspace which is under the proposed flight path you can add both noise and jet fuel pollution to the mix.
And to think I thought the medical marijuana law implementation was on hold.
Does someone really believe that the people who might live in a housing complex like this (which I’m not in favor of) are not really on the planet today!?
