Kaboom! MHS Science Teacher Awarded Fellowship from NSTA

Milton High Science teacher, Loyola Pasiewicz, was recently selected for a national fellowship that recognizes promising new teachers.

Loyola Pasiewicz was named one of only two teachers in Massachusetts to qualify for a Fellowship Program in the New Science Teacher Academy awarded by the National Science Teachers Association, the largest professional organization in the world. The NSTA is dedicated to promoting excellence and innovation in science teaching and learning for all.

Only 220 teachers in the nation were chosen for this honor. You can find the complete list here. Ms. Pasiewicz will participate in a year-long professional development program designed to promote quality science teaching. She has also been invited to the NSTA national conference and is eligible to participate in web seminars, e-Mentoring and specialized conference pathways.
