State and local fire officials are still investigating to determine what caused the three-alarm blaze that gutted the house at 1170 Brook Road on Tuesday. It took firefighters from Milton, Randolph, Canton and Boston to knock down the fire, which was reported at about 2:30 p.m. and left the two-story colonial-style home uninhabitable, Milton Deputy Fire Chief Brian Linehan said.  (Read the full story here.)
