There’s music, gangsters and more in MHS production “Anything Goes!”

And did we mention Tap Dancing! You’ll find it all along with an abundance of energy, enthusiasm and talent as Milton High School stages  the musical comedy, Anything Goes on November 5th and 6th.

With music and lyrics by Cole Porter, Anything Goes is a musical comedy set in the 1930’s on an ocean liner travelling from New York to London. It is a rollicking tale of crime, romance, and mistaken identity. The roles, ranging from an heiress and a British aristocrat to a gangster and nightclub singers, are performed by Milton High School students. The music includes some well-known favorites, “I get a Kick out of You”, “It’s Delovely”, and, of course the signature song, “Anything Goes.”

The show is directed and choreographed by Rebecca Damiani and Music is directed by Noreen Diamond Burdett. The Pit Orchestra is directed by Gary Good.

Performances are at 7pm Friday, November 5th and at 2pm and 7pm on Saturday, November 6th in the Charles C. Winchester Auditorium at Milton High School, 25 Gile Road, Milton, MA.

Tickets are $10.for adults and $7.for students and seniors They are available in the MHS main office and at the door.
