On Monday, September 27, 2010, the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority’s will performing work in connection with its on-going Southern Spine water main project. This work may cause discolored water in the areas of East Milton Square near the Expressway, Brook Road and Adams Street for up to three days.
On September 20th Town Meeting passed Articles 2 and 4 easily. Article 3 received some discussion,but also passed with a substantial majority. Article 1, however, was not the “slam dunk” some thought it would be. But in the end, though it rattled the rim, it went through.
This Thursday night, September 23, from 7:00-8:00 pm at the Milton High School Auditorium, the Milton High School Student Support Team in partnership with Children’s Hospital will present Dr. Nadja Reilly, Director of the Depression Prevention Initiative and a preview of the documentary “Break Free From Depression”, part of this year’s Health Curriculum at MHS.
Note: The path will be closed temporarily between Butler Street and Granite Avenue on 9/20, 9/21, and 9/22.
