Pierce students participate in MA Science and Engineering Fair

Three students from the Pierce Middle School attended the Massachusetts Region V Science & Engineering Fair on Saturday, April 25 at Regis College in Weston, MA, a regional fair for students in southeastern Massachusetts. Two of the students in attendance were winners of the Pierce Science Fair. They students attending were:

  • Luke Baltay with a project titled”The Effect of Extra CO2 on Mint Plants.”
  • Wallace Heller with a project titled “What is the Best Way to Disinfect a Toothbrush?”
  • Anna Fahy with a project titled “How is the Air Inside the Football Affected by the Temperature Outside the Football?”

They further refined their projects to meet the requirements of the State Fair.
