The Friends of the Milton Public Library invite you to a special Collectible and Rare Books Sale on Saturday, May 9, from 10am-2pm, with a Friends Members-Only Preview Sale on Thursday, May 7 from 6:30pm-8:30pm. Hundreds of unique and unusual books of all categories, collected over the last ten years, with some dating back to the mid-1800s, will be for sale.
Prices range from $2 to $250, and categories include books for children, history, biographies, fiction, and books signed by the author. There is also a large collection of art, local interest, and Irish titles. Friends of the Library membership applications will be available at the door for the Thursday Preview Sale. The sale on Saturday will be open to the public. Cash, checks, and credit cards will be accepted. The Friends of the Library Book Shop is located at 476 Canton Avenue, in Milton. Proceeds from the Book Shop and the Collectible and Rare Books Sale will provide funding for programming held at the Library.
