“The Art in Bloom Road Show” will be presented on Thursday, April 9th at 7 PM in the Keys Community Room (lower level) of the Milton Public Library. The fascinating event will capture the behind-the-scenes preparation for the Museum of Fine Art’s annual “Art in Bloom,” a four-day period in the spring when fifty of the museum’s art objects are interpreted through floral arrangements.
Art in Bloom,” with other coordinated events, proves to be the museum’s busiest week. MFA Senior Associate Kristen Wainwright will give a slide presentation highlighting the background of Art in Bloom, and MFA Senior Associate Marmee Taylor will create a floral interpretation of an art object. This program is sponsored by The Friends of the Milton Public Library and we thank them for their support. Visit the library’s website at www.miltonlibrary.org and click on “Events” for more information, or call Jean Hlady, Adult Services Librarian, at (617) 698-5757.
