MPD: No overnight parking

Notice from the Milton Police Department

There is “No Parking” allowed over night at this time. PUBLIC Safety and the ability of emergency vehicles to be able to respond and operate is vital. This directive INCLUDES , ANY RESIDENT WHO HAS A “Hardship Permit.” The guidelines of the permit clearly define that the permit is “suspended” during emergency snow situations.. We know this is tough, but we have to exercise due caution.

Since the first blizzard, each day has bought a decent number of medical emergencies, as well as an increase in other family related emergencies. If we were to have a house fire, the cold and snow already creates an additional burden for MFD. Not being able to access a fire location could be deadly!

We will be tagging each night and in serious cases, your vehicle could be towed. Please take note of this important information.
