Nomination papers became available at the town clerk’s office yesterday and two residents have taken out papers for the office of Board of Selectman, incumbent Denis Keohane and David Burnes of Garfield Road.

Other incumbents to pull papers yesterday include Susan Galvin for Town Clerk, Laura Richards for Board of Health, and James McAuliffe for Treasurer.

Papers must be returned to the Board of Registrars at the Office of the Town Clerk for certification by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 in order to have your name placed upon the ballot on Tuesday, April 28, 2015

Also, two School Committee members have confirmed with the Town Clerk that they will not be running for re-election. Members Lynda Lee Sheridan and Mary Kelly have both decided to step off the committee after years of service which leaves two open seats open on the School Committee.

Herb Voigt, an incumbent on the Library Board of Trustees, has taken out nomination papers. Incumbents Brendan McLaughlin and Barbara Mason have not yet done so.
