Catherine Liberles, RN, will be honored at this year’s event for her vision and pioneering efforts in the development of the Saint Rock Haiti Foundation and her steadfast commitment to those less fortunate.

Proceeds from this year’s gala will be targeted toward expanding primary care services at the Saint Rock Clinic. Established in 2002, the Saint Rock Haiti Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit agency working to provide health care and social services to the Saint Rock community with 94% of all funding going directly to the medical clinic and community outreach programs. Several times a year, parishioners from St. Agatha’s and others from the greater Boston area arrive in Saint Rock for weeklong stays. These volunteers help the Haitian staff there in a variety of ways, including providing basic health care and supporting community development projects like the Clean Water Initiative.

This event, sponsored by St. Agatha Parish Global Outreach Ministry, raised over $165,000 last year. The committee is hoping to surpass that amount this year. Jocelyn Bresnahan, President of SRHF, said, “We are so grateful for the support of our sponsors and donors who make it possible for us to continue to provide the health care that is so desperately needed for our brothers and sisters in Saint Rock.”

The Gala Committee is offering sponsorship opportunities and soliciting items for the silent auction.
