Please join us at First Parish in Milton Unitarian Universalist for our annual Handcrafting Justice Fair Trade Handcraft Sale on Saturday, December 6th from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm and on Sunday, December 7th from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. Craftspersons from Africa, Asia, and Latin America have created a wide array of clothing, bags and purses, toys, and home décor which will be sold on their behalf at very reasonable prices, and all proceeds go will directly to the craftmakers. Guatemalan jewelry maker Julio Cochoy will be joining us with his array of Maya Skills beaded jewelry. This is a wonderful way to get some holiday shopping done and make a positive impact on our global neighbors by supporting them directly and fairly. Handcrafting Justice is a project of the Sisters of the Good Shepherd.
In addition Equal Exchange chocolate and coffee will also be available for purchase, First Parish’s Youth Group will be providing gift wrapping services, and visitors will be welcome to join us for a bite to eat during our Membership Brunch on Saturday.
All of this will take place in our parish hall at 535 Canton Avenue in Milton. You are welcome to call our office at 617-698-6329with any questions. You can also find us on the web at http://www.fpmilton.org or check us out on Facebook. We’d love to have you join us!
