Beginning today 02186/MyTownMatters is working in cooperation with the Forbes House Museum to present a series of short stories and illustrations on Ireland’s Great Famine and its connection to Milton and Boston. The first feature article gives background information on the Forbes House Museum’s association with the Famine with introduction to a series of Famine illustrations by John Mahony (c. 1810- 1879), illustrator for the Illustrated London News. We are proud to be associated with the Forbes House Museum in this initiative.
