Milton resident Marianne F. Mitchell  won the 44th grand prize of $1 million on the Billion Dollar Bonanza Game from the Massachusetts State Lottery.

She received her first of 20 annuity checks for $50,000 before taxes Tuesday at Lottery headquarters in Braintree. (Read the full story here.)
